Sports and entertainment play an important role in marketing and are important parts of this modern economy. Fans and companies spend billions of dollars each year on sports and entertainment. It is one of the largest exports from the United states to the rest of the world. This course will help students learn basic marketing functions and how those functions are applied to the sports and entertainment industries. Computer technology will be used daily to support and enrich the curriculum.
