Dear Families, Well, this week certainly did fly by! The ELA tests took up a good part of our day each day this week. I am so proud of how hard the kids worked on something that was, actually, quite challenging. Next week they will be working on the NYS Math Test starting on Wednesday. Please make sure your child gets a good night’s sleep and has breakfast before coming to school. Also, try to ease pre-test jitters by reminding your child that these tests are just an opportunity to show how very smart they are and how much they have learned! I try to tell them how exciting it is that they get to show off. I don’t know if it helps, but it makes me feel better! J We celebrated Brina’s birthday today with some cookies and a song! We also got to celebrate Jordan’s birthday before spring vacation by dining on some delicious homemade cupcakes! We just love our sweets! I am still in need of a few school pictures from Spring Picture Day. If you are not purchasing, you can just send all of the photos back to me. If you would like to purchase them, however, just stick a check in an envelope and send it on in with any photos you may not want. Thanks so much! J Enjoy your weekend and, please remember, if you need to reach me you can call me here at Pieter B. at 756-5200 Ext. 4256 or e-mail me at kbaumgras@rcscsd.org
Sincerely,
