So, Who Am I and Why Do I Do This?

Well, I'm a Physics Teachin' Coaster Fanatic who likes to ride his motorcycle.  Seriously, I've been teaching Physics for over 25 years (oh my...).  I currently also teach Forensics and Computer Science; in the past I've taught a variety of math courses, was the computer half of a Principles of Engineering course,  and was the Tech half of a BioTechnology course.  My passion is why things do what they do - whether at a Nascar race or just watching a movie. 

I started using the "Amusement Park Physics" pack that Dennis Hulbert authored (15 years ago?).  Over the years, I've tweaked what was there to match the changed Physics Curriculum, added questions to extend the investigation of the original rides, and added new pages as The Great Escape expanded.

The Physics Pac offered here is an amalgam of 10 years of tweaks, twists, and suggestions by many of my colleagues.  Enjoy, and may the beauty of Physics hit your students square between the eyes.
