Technologists
Our
District has two Instructional Technologists to assist teachers with the
use of technology in the classroom. Bonnie McNeilly is based at the High
School and Middle School. Bonnie has a strong Technology background and
can help you with a lot of different tasks. Marcia Blakesley will be alternating
between elementary buildings. She is very excited about new position and
has a whole lot to offer. Both are available for one-on-one or small
group training courses most anytime. Give the help desk at call to set
one up. (
Software
and Computer Applications
We
have migrated to Microsoft Office 2007 Suite. Additionally, a program is
called Microsoft Student 2006 is available in every lab. Microsoft
Student 2006 is a comprehensive, subject-specific resource designed to
help middle- and high-school students complete high-quality homework
assignments and projects in less time. With curriculum-based templates
and tutorials, a fully functional graphing calculator with 2-D and 3-D
four-color graphing capabilities, trusted content, and tools for cutting
through online clutter, Microsoft Student 2006 provides students with the
tools and information they need to achieve academic success.
Another
useful software product called Microsoft Learning Essentials for
Microsoft Office is also loaded in all the labs. This product contains
useful templates for both students and teachers. If you would like to
have this loaded on your classroom computer, click
